CHECK-IN: 7:30 am • Jacobson Lobby
CONTEST: 9:00 am
LUNCH: Served to contestants once the contest breaks for reasons.
- Offering Junior College Novice (Freshman) and Pro (Sophomore) divisions
- 4-H and FFA will run four individuals on a team and drop the lowest ranked score.

- There are no refunds of entry fees. (Entries will double after deadline)
- Coaches will receive an invoice via Email to pay team entry fees.
CONTEST DETAILS
- Contest attire is judging casual wear.
- 4-H and FFA will run four individuals on a team and drop the lowest ranked score.
- 6 classes of beef cattle
- 2 classes of hogs
- 1 class of goats
- 1 class of sheep
- No keep cull classes.
- One scenario class which the data will be provided.
4-H and FFA have the option to only give reasons or to only take questions. Please make sure to make the form for what your team will be participating in. No age restriction. Will run four individuals on a team and drop the lowest ranked score.

SENIOR COLLEGE DIVISION
Five (5) member team gives 6 sets of reasons.
$150.00 – Senior College Team
$40.00 – Senior College Individual
JUNIOR COLLEGE DIVISION (Novice and Pro)

FFA DIVISION
Four (4) member team gives 3 sets of reasons or answer questions.
Will run four individuals on a team and drop the lowest ranked score.

We are honored to offer the 2024 Virtual Judging Contest will JudgingPro. We have a great contest setup for the contestants.
➢ Go to iowabeefexpo.com to signup for the contest. Once entered you will receive an email from Quickbooks for payment.
➢ As soon as you have signed up online and paid the quickbooks link you will receive an email from Iowa Beef Expo within 12 hours. In this email will be your link to the videos, link to your scantron, and your team/contestant number.
➢ Contest will not open until 8 A.M. Wednesday, April 3rd and you will have until 11:59 P.M. Sunday, April 7th to finish the contest. You have til noon on April 7th to sign up.
➢Entry Fees is: Youth $30 per team or $10 per individual, College $40 per team or $10 per individual, Adult $10 per individual.
➢ Coaches can help the contestant fill out the name and contestant number part of the scantron but we ask that the coaches do not help the contestants with the actual judging.
➢ Results will be post by 8 A.M. Wednesday, April 10th on Judgingcard.com
